The Transition Of Agriculture In Greece
Regenerative Farming Greece is an initiative created under the stewardship of The Southern Lights non profit organisation in 2021 following the huge demand from farmers after our successful “Food Forest Tour” to be supported to transition their farming operation.
Through the valuable support of Chan Sac from Permalab and Giuseppe Sannicandro from Regen, Regenerative Farming Greece was created with the aim to support the transition of the farming sector in Greece to a regenerative one.
We believe in a multistakeholder processes to grow a supportive Eco System for the agri-food transition which is why we contribute to unite actors all across the sector.
One of the most crucial alliance is EARA (European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture) of which our founder Sheila Darmos is a founding member and Regenerative Farming Greece is a Partner organisation.
