GRAPE FARM ZONES
The Farm consists of 4 zones.

House
The main house accommodates community kitchen, training and seminar spaces, a small exhibition area for local products and outdoor sitting areas.
Aromatic herbs garden
Garden with aromatic herbs provides recreational space and produces at the same time herbs and medicinal plants.
Grape plot
The grape plot consists so far of a grape monoculture that suffers a lot from direct sunlight exposure, especially in the hot and dry months of the year. We will focus on the conversion of this farming operation.
Pear cultivation
The Pear cultivation will be converted into a food forest providing a diversity of fruits for the needs of the educational center. Additionally they will enrich the baskets of the farmer and contribute a biodiversity to the farm that will strengthen its resilience.
Olive cultivation
In the olive grove a horse and goats are grazing, while between some tree lines vegetables are grown. We won´t convert this plot in this premises of this program.
Apricots and Vegetables
In this plot sparse apricot trees are planted and between the tree lines vegetables are grown.
Compost and organic matter storage
In this area compost and organic matter is being stored and further transformed.
Animal stables
This area is hosting animals like chickens, goats and a horse and a donkey. Their manure is used in the farm.
Wind break north
The wind break to the north will be reinforced to protect the farm from the harsh north winds, keep the humidity coming with the south winds and will be consisting of fire retardant plant species to protect from fires.

The wind break to the north will be reinforced to protect the farm from the harsh north winds, keep the humidity coming with the south winds and will be consisting of fire retardant plant species to protect from fires.
