In the context of the Align4LDN project, we were present at the stakeholder conference, contributing to design recommendations towards aligning land management approaches with sustainable land management and land degradation neutrality criteria that seem not yet to be supported.
“The Align4LDN project is funded by UNCCD and implemented by UNU-EHS and builds on the UNCCD Decision 19/COP.15 para. 13*, which requests to conduct a coherence and alignment assessment of the expanding number of approaches that may contribute to the sustainable management of land and water resources, and to the achievement of land degradation neutrality.”
