Designed for farmers and agronomists, this training covers specific topics, listed below, adjusted to organic and regenerative agriculture practices.
Hosted at The Southern Lights, a regenerative farm transitioning from organic production since 2016. You will have the opportunity to see the real future impact of some of the techniques introduced during the training.

Processes in an AgroEcoSystem and Management of Organic Matter: pruning for biomass and root exudates, mulching and cover crops
Regenerative Agriculture and Inputs: worm compost, hot compost, bocashi, liquid biofertilizers and reproduction of microorganisms

About the trainer
Giuseppe Sannicandro is an international expert, farmer himself, with vast experience in regenerative practices specialized in the Mediterranean context.

Ο Τζουζέπε Σαννικάντρο δουλεύει με την αναγεννητική καλλιέργεια για πάνω από 10 χρόνια στην Ιταλία, εμβαθύνοντας στην αγροδασοπονία στην Νότια Αμερική. Από τότε έχει σχεδιάσει την μετάβαση προς την αναγεννητική καλλιέργεια περισσότερων από 70 αγροκτημάτων σε όλη την Ευρώπη σε διαφορετικές κλιματικές συνθήκες. Έχει τεράστια εμπειρία στο Μεσογειακό κλίμα και συνεργάζεται με φάρμες στην Ιταλία, την Πορτογαλία, την Ισπανία, την Κύπρο, την Ελβετία και την Ελλάδα. Είναι συνιδρυτής της οργάνωσης Regen στην Απουλία της Ιταλίας, όπου λειτουργούν ένα εκπαιδευτικό κέντρο αναγεννητικής καλλιέργειας ενώ ταυτόχρονα παρέχει υπηρεσίες σχεδιασμού και συμβουλευτικής σε άλλα αγροκτήματα.

This event is tailored to the Greek context. The main target audience are farmers and agronomists who want to learn how to increase productivity and fertility in farming operations, through regenerative practices.
The training will be taught in English, with live translation into Greek.
Exact location will be provided in a follow-up email, upon registration.
A delicious and organic light lunch will be offered to participants.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who partiicpate to the full program.
